First Tomato

Tomato season has started with a whimper. I found this specimen sitting amongst a mere 10 or 12 of his friends at the Farmer's Market this past weekend. At another stall, there were none for sale and I was told that they were still sitting on the vine, rock hard and green.

So with all that, my expectations were low, and they were met. But soon...
