Zane Selvans: We have finally, emphatically, been overwhelmed by our tomatoes.  They are unbelievably tasty and plentiful.  I'm sure it helped that Ian headed north just as the bumper crop started.

subnaught: That sounds great Zane. The tomatoes in our garden are just getting started. These are from the farmers' market, which likely makes them Central Valley tomatoes.

I thought the same thing tonight as I cleared a plate of salad. Just before I wiped the slice of tomato into the trash, I looked at it and thought it looked redder and more tender than the same serving yesterday. Goodbye greenhouses and leatherskins!
